Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born on 2nd February, 1977. She is a Colombian singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer and philanthropist. She emerged as a music phenomena in the Latin America and in the mid 1990s and stole the hearts of millions across the world with Laundry Service.With two Grammy Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe nomination she is the highest selling Colombian artist of all time. Chances are that she will be awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame making her the first Colombian to receive this honor.
Apart from her music career, Shakira is a Real Madrid fan.
